Interestingly, I just had an email conversation with one of my college age daughters about purchasing one. Her point was with some of her honors classes she needed to be toting a lot of books to the discussions for reference. But, alas, the same problem Jeff pointed out. Namely, the specific editions her profs required, and textbooks in general, aren't included. I know it would appeal to a college student to lug their little Kindle along, rather than their 15# college chemistry text. If they can expand their list to include all of these, we would definitely consider it.

the Kindle reminds me of something i saw in an old school Star Trek episode, which is a good selling point... it's a bit pricey though
