One of the great things about being a library rat is getting to know the library clerks. They're not only helpful at solving problems, but often have great book recommendations. When I mentioned to my dear library friend Ann (who, btw, is mentioned in the Appreciation of LOL) that I've begun work on a new book, she offered her help.
