Last week during the house inspection the subject of television came up, as the only television option out in the country will be satellite. I told the inspector it didn't matter since we don't do TV.
He responded, "Let me tell you exactly what will happen. Your kids will go to their friends houses to watch TV and you'll never see them again. I know, it happened to a friend of mine. So you better watch out!"
I told him it wasn't a problem as we never let our children out of the house.
I'm not sure if he knew I was kidding.

Hi Lisa!
What I really wanted to say was, "Oh thank you Mr. Inspector Man for warning me. I'll run out right now and sign up for cable. That way my children can watch filth and trash in the comfort of their own home with Mom and Dad." But I bit my tongue.
