We still haven't captured Junior, but we know where she is. She's living in our sofa. There's probably enough crumbs in there to sustain her for a month.
We had company over and I had to tell them, "I'm sorry, you'll have to sit on the love seat as there is a rat in the sofa."
This is my life.

When we say, "For better, for worse," we have no idea the things we're getting ourselves into, do we? :)
Ain't that the truth honey! :-)
Maureen, this may be the funniest story I have ever read on any blog!
It is funny. As much as these pet rats creep me out, I can't help but laugh :-).
I'd probably move the couch out onto the driveway until it left, but then again, we have REALLY trashed couches around here.
Some day I have to tell you the story of the chipmunk we had in our house. I never knew before that that a perfectly rational person could be so scared of a chipmunk running around that it could appear to grow in size when it got closer to me!:)
I think if we put the couch in the driveway, she'd still stay in the couch.
Thing is, she's a pet and the kids would kill me if I let her go in the wild. Plus my neighbors may not like it.
I'm thinking we should just let her have the house and we'll move out to the driveway. :-)
