Milwaukee in Pictures

Let's have a contest: How many homeschoolers can you name?

I'll post the answers in the next day or two. Meanwhile, I have to recuperate from all the wild antics that go with hanging out with Catholic homeschoolers from all over the country for an entire weekend. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal by the Dayton conference!

Update.
HINT: If you click on the pictures you can see the name tags. Or, you can go to Michele's blog where she has the bottom picture labeled.

Wow, there actually is one I recognize.....it's either Michele Q, or Michele.....anyway since I have been on so many Catholic Homeschool forums it was bound to happen that I would know someone. Wish we had Catholic conference here where I am....NC

LOL! And there's my dh in between Mary and Holly. He's lookin' kinda scary too! LOL.

Oh Michelle, I don't think he looks too scary at all :-).

Alicia, at first I thought you meant that Mary Ellen (the 5-year old behind Dan) had a blog. I was impressed that such a young child had a blog, she was quite bright but I never imagined. Then I realized I was looking at the wrong picture -- LOL!

And I deleted the comment, because I realized I had the wrong person! (after seeing a different picture on Michele Q's blog). I'm still feeling a bit groggy after all that fun!

Alicia, I just popped over to Michelle Q's blog and now I know who MB is -- we had a nice conversation at my table. What a lovely person! I really love meeting all the homeschoolers when I go to these conferences -- especially the Thrifty Homeschoolers!

Yes, she is! It's funny, because I remember meeting and talking with her at past conferences AND I already had her blog in my google reader, but I hadn't previously put the face and blog together. :)

Thanks for your post. I don’t know if you’re familiar with Maya & Miguel, a show on PBS in the afternoons -- http://pbskidsgo.org/mayaandmiguel -- that emphasizes cultural diversity and language learning but I’m reaching out to talk to parents about the program as part of a marketing project I’m working on with Scholastic.

I found your post and thought I’d reach out to say hello and ask if you’d like to receive a free Maya & Miguel DVD. If you’d like to receive the DVD just email me at Kerri at boldmouth.com with your address and I’ll have it shipped it out to you.

If you do choose to blog about Maya & Miguel show or episodes on the DVD, please make it clear how you received the information. Our goal is to be open and honest with everyone we reach.

Alicia I am pretty sure you were right the first time. The picture I have of MB on my blog is from Sat. but the one you were talking about was from Friday (I can tell by the shirt dh is wearing) and I am pretty sure that IS MB back there because I seem to remember her wearing red.

Oh, Michele, that is too funny. It did look an awful lot like her! :)
