Frogs and Spring

In Alaska you know spring has sprung when you hear the ice break.

You know spring has sprung at my house whe you hear the mother shriek, "Get those frogs out of my house!"

Ah, I remember the days when my mom would yell at me to get the frog out of the house... along with, "Okay, now get in the bath-tub!" ;)

LOL

We have a menagerie here now. We started off with one little fire-bellied toad and a dozen feeder crickets. Warning: never send your husband to get the feeder crickets from PetSmart by himself. Michael thought our little Oz looked lonely so he bought him two new friends and brought back about 30 crickets. I guess it's kind of nice to be serenaded by your own crickets but it makes me feel even more guilty than I already do about having to feed them to the toads. I apologize every time I walk by the cages. *smile*
